If you decide to start your Penn State career in the summer and want to be considered for student financial aid during the summer session, you will need to complete an additional Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by midnight June 30, 2008.  You must use the 2007-08 FAFSA form to be considered for summer session aid.  This application determines your eligibility for summer 2008 only.

You should also complete a 2008-09 FAFSA, preferably by February 15, 2008, for consideration for aid during the academic year 2008-09.  You must file both the 2007-08 and the 2008-09 FAFSA if you wish to be considered for aid during summer as well as fall and spring 2008-09.
