| Early College Enrollment for High School Juniors |

Penn State's early college enrollment program for highly qualified high school juniors allows a limited number of students to enroll as first-year Penn State students after completing their eleventh grade high school studies. To be eligible for this program, students must:
- demonstrate that they are academically advanced and highly motivated to succeed at the collegiate level;
- complete all admission requirements (except receipt of high school diploma) for their intended major by the end of the current academic year;
- maintain academic excellence through the current academic year;
- have written permission and recommendation to enter the program from their high school principal, superintendent, high school counselor or home school evaluator, and parent/guardian;
- have a guarantee from their high school that a diploma will be granted on successful completion of their first year at Penn State (The high school/home school will define what it considers successful.);
- be interviewed for this program by an admissions officer at a Penn State campus.
