The associate degree
in Dietetic Food Systems Management includes
a set of core courses in dietetic food
systems management plus an emphasis in
either health care or school food service.
The Health Care emphasis is a Dietetic
Technician Program accredited by the
Commission on Accreditation of Dietetic
Education. Graduates of this emphasis
are eligible to become Registered Dietetic
Technicians after passing a national
registration examination. The School
Food Service emphasis is approved by
the American School Food Service Association
(ASFSA). The completion of this degree
and emphasis can prepare you to work
in the school food service setting in
a supervisory position and prepares you
for the ASFSA School Food Service Nutrition
Specialist (SFNS) credentialing exam.
