This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.
This program is for students interested in career
and technical education for youth and adults. In
addition to courses in sciences, business, and the
humanities, students complete a period of student
teaching before graduation. Graduates may be certified
to teach in a number of subject areas, such as horticulture,
resource management, and agricultural mechanics.
Three options are available: Environmental Science,
Leadership and Communication, and Production.
The B.S. in Agricultural and Extension Education
is offered by Penn State's College of Agricultural
Sciences.
