This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.

This flexible major is an interdepartmental program offered by the Department of Dairy and Animal Science and the Department of Poultry Science. The Business/Management option combines business and the production and management of animals and poultry. Students taking this option can prepare for careers in agribusiness management, technical sales and/or service, animal care and management, cooperative extension, or commodity promotion. The Science option provides opportunity for more in depth study of the basic sciences relevant to animal biology. Graduates of this option can go on to veterinary school or graduate study in nutrition, physiology, or genetics, or pursue careers in the pharmaceutical or research industries.

The B.S. in Dairy and Animal Science is offered by Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences.
