Anthropology
Thisprogram may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.

Anthropology is the comparative study of human biological and cultural variation. As a science, anthropology attempts to formulate generalizations that explain this diversity. The B.A. major focuses on the biological and cultural variations of human populations through archaeology, biological anthropology, and cultural anthropology. In addition to class work, students receive practical training in laboratory and field work.

The B.A. in Anthropology is offered by Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts.

Please note: The University may make changes in policies, procedures, educational offerings, and requirements at any time. Please consult the most recent Degree Programs Bulletin for more detailed information.
