This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.
This major is designed to provide students with a broadly based liberal arts education focused on the understanding and analysis of crime and justice systems. Students in the program are expected to build a foundation of knowledge in the basic components of the criminal justice and legal systems and develop the problem-solving, critical analysis, and effective writing skills used within that foundation. Classroom instruction is supplemented by individual study and field experience. This program is appropriate for students seeking entry-level employment in the criminal justice system and for students interested in graduate or law school.
The B.A. and B.S. in Crime, Law, & Justice is offered by Penn State's College of Liberal Arts.
