This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.

This program is designed for students who want to enter the fields of research, development, and advanced study in engineering. It is broader in scope and more science-oriented than our other majors. Students work in all major engineering sciences with a focus in a specific discipline of their choosing occuring during the senior year . Most Engineering Science graduates accept positions in research and development within a variety of industries; others become involved in design, consulting, and sales. Engineering Science provides excellent preparation for graduate study.

The B.S. in Engineering Science is offered by Penn State's College of Engineering.
