This interdisciplinary, science based major focuses on using problem solving, decision making, and communication skills to prevent or mitigate environmental problems.You will take courses in the biological, physical, and social sciences; business; statistics; and engineering.To specialize in one aspect of the environment, you can complete a relevant minor or a group of related courses. Graduates work with industries and government agencies on issues such as water quality, waste management, and land use planning.
The B.S. in Environmental Resource Management is offered by Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences.
