This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State Erie.
This major allows for a high degree of flexibility and choice in determining the courses a student may select to satisfy the requirements for the bachelor of arts degree. The major offers the student the opportunity to select the option of concentrated study that best supports his or her career or educational goals. The particular option should be determined in consultation with the student's adviser. Available options are in Humanities, Social and behavioral Sciences, Science/Mathematics, and Liberal Studies. Students can use the Liberal Studies option to structure a program of study around their individual interests and career plans.
The B.A. degree in General Arts and Sciences is offered by Penn State's Behrend College.
