This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.
Students in this major can develop the skills and knowledge needed to understand the complex and societal problem of providing access to quality health care at a reasonable cost. All students complete an internship in a health-care-related setting and study a multidisciplinary curriculum emphasizing business and the social and health sciences. The program prepares students to work in administration, public relations and marketing, human resources, finance, and other fields in health care organizations, or go on to graduate study. The Bureau of Labor Statistics shows health services management is one of the twenty-five fastest-growing high-earning fields. This program is a Full Certified Member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
The B.S. in Health Policy and Administration is offered by Penn State's College of Health and Human Development.
