International Business

Penn State offers several opportunities for students to pursue their interest in international business.

International Business at Penn State Erie
This program may be started at any campus and is completed only at Penn State Erie.

This major is designed for students who want to prepare for the increasingly international nature of modern business. Emphasis is placed on accomplishing organizational goals through the coordination of human, material, information, and financial resources across international boundaries. Core business courses are integrated with courses in international business, international culture, foreign language, and a study abroad experience. Graduates of the program should have a diverse academic experience enabling them to consider employment with small businesses developing international operations or in larger organizations with extensive global operations.

The B.S. in International Business is offered by Penn State's Behrend College.

Read more about high school course requirements. This major has no transfer requirements specific to the major.

Important note:

Although Penn State University Park does not offer an International Business major, students in any major in their college with an interest in International Business are encouraged to consider pairing their major with an International Business minor. For more information, you may contact The Smeal College of Business.

Please note: The University may make changes in policies, procedures, educational offerings, and requirements at any time. Please consult the most recent Degree Programs Bulletin for more detailed information.
