This major is designed to provide a broad, comprehensive education in international relations and foreign policy. International Politics majors take courses in international and comparative politics or area studies, as well as international economics, political geography, and diplomatic history. Students have an opportunity to study a variety of contemporary concerns, such as internal and international conflicts, terrorism, European integration, economic competition, and foreign policy making.
