Students in Jewish Studies gain in-depth exposure to a minority tradition, primarily in Western culture, as well as in pre- and non-Western cultures. Fluency in Hebrew and an internship experience or advanced study abroad are required. The major combines multiple disciplinary perspectives, including courses in art history, religious studies, anthropology, and classics. Students are encouraged to consider a second major in a related area.
