This interdisciplinary program is designed to give undergraduate students an integrated knowledge of medieval civilization. The field of study is roughly limited to Europe between the fifth and fifteenth centuries. The broad, comprehensive interdisciplinary treatment gives students the opportunity to understand medieval life from various intellectual compass points.

The B.A. degree in Medieval Studies is offered by Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts.
