The bachelor of arts degree in Russian provides students with knowledge of the Russian language and a broad background in Russian literature, culture, and civilization. The bachelor of science degree program in Russian translation provides students with a high degree of skill in translating from Russian to English. Students are encouraged to use their language skill through contact with native Russian speakers and participate in study abroad programs.

The B.A. degree in Russian and the B.S. degree in Russian Translation are offered by Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts.
