Secondary Education, Biological Science Teaching
This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State Abington.

Responding to a critical need for well-trained science teachers, Penn State Abington's Science Education program offers a choice of two distinct paths. Students may earn a bachelor of science degree in Secondary Education with a Biological Science teaching option from Penn State's College of Education, or they may earn a bachelor of science degree in Science with education certification through Penn State Abington's Life Science option. Either degree will meet academic requirements for the Instructional I certificate for teaching biology and the secondary-school level, issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The B.S. in Elementary Education in Multicultural Settings is offered by Penn State's Abington College.

Please note: The University may make changes in policies, procedures, educational offerings, and requirements at any time. Please consult the most recent Degree Programs Bulletin for more detailed information.
