This program may be started at any campus and is completed at Penn State University Park.

The Special Education major emphasizes a broad clinical model appropriate for teaching any disabled group, at any age or disability level. A core of special education courses—aimed at general skill development in the areas of diagnosis, prescription, development of materials and teaching strategies, implementation, and evaluation—is required of all students.

The B.S. in Special Education is offered by Penn State's College of Education.
