The program may be started at any campus and is completed only at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
This major provides the basic undergraduate education required for private and public service in the surveying/geospatial industry. Particular emphasis is placed on fundamental principles required in all areas of surveying. A rigorous curriculum is provided in the main areas of surveying, including boundary and cadastral surveying, construction surveying, geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems, land development, and adjustments of surveying measurements.
