Students in this major explore the subject matter of women's experiences from an interdisciplinary perspective. They become knowledgeable about the diversity of women's experiences across culture, race, religion, ethnicity, age, and sexual orientation. Through interacting with instructors and fellow students, Women's Studies students develop critical and analytical skills, capacity for imagination, and the ability to articulate alternatives.

The B.A. in Women's Studies is offered by Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts.
