Financial Guarantee Information

International undergraduate students must provide a financial guarantee to include the estimated student tuition and fees.

You may provide the financial guarantee by submitting an official bank letter stating the current balance and a letter from the account holder(s) stating the amount they are willing to use towards the educational costs. All financial documents must be dated within the last 6 months . If you are sponsored by a private institution or government agency, provide a letter from an appropriate official of that agency, including information about duration of the financial support and amounts to be given for specific categories, i.e., tuition, books, medical insurance, and living expenses.

We suggest that you keep copies of all financial documents sent to Penn State because you will need this information when you apply for your U.S. Visa.
