The Center for Excellence in Academic Advising is an electronic resource for advising and provides links to other Web sites that are useful to faculty and staff advisers. The mission of the center is to support advisers in their work with students.
Directory of Academic Advising and Counseling Resources at University Park
This directory is a comprehensive list of offices, colleges, and programs at the University Park campus that provide academic advising or counseling services. Names, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and office addresses of contacts in each area are listed along with links to relevant Web sites.
General Education
This Web site is the official source of information about Penn State's General Education program. It provides an explanation of the role, goals, and components of general education along with lists of General Education courses and brief descriptions of each course.
The Mentor: An Academic Advising Journal
The Mentor is a free electronic publication about academic advising in higher education. The publication's goal is to provide a mechanism for the rapid dissemination of new ideas about advising and for ongoing discourse about advising issues. Toward this goal, articles in the journal are published continuously in a current issue in progress.

This document is the official source of the University Faculty Senate policies. University Undergraduate Advising Handbook
This handbook was developed by the Division of Undergraduate Studies at University Park in consultation with offices throughout Penn State to provide critical information regarding the most commonly used University-wide academic policies and procedures. It is designed to be used in conjunction with University, college, and department advising resources. Information, policies, and procedures have been cross-referenced with the relevant University sources.
