Course Reserves provide student access to additional materials assigned by faculty. If you would like to put material on reserve, please print and complete the request form. Be sure to include course number, semester, and loan period. Materials may be submitted at the Circulation Desk or sent by Intercampus Mail. Reserves are processed on a first come-first served basis. If you have any questions, please refer to the main Course Reserves web page. |

| The Penn State University Libraries provide two excellent web modules: "Information Literacy and You" and "The Information Cycle." Both modules are entirely web-based and the Information Literacy module offers short quizzes at the end of each section. You decide how much or little you would like to present to your class, and you can use the modules without contacting the library. These resources are ideal for First Year Seminar, English 4, or English 15 classes, but can also serve as a good refresher for upper-level classes. If you would like live instruction in addition to the handouts, contact us and a librarian will be happy to work with you to determine the best databases for your students to use. We can come to your class at the start of the semester and help your students set up their personalized research accounts so that they'll be better prepared for their assignments. Multisearch: Creating Your Own Database List Multisearch Automatic Searching For updates on recent Penn State purchases in your research field, go to Penn State’s Online Catalog (The CAT), find books that best match your research area and set the subject heading as a favorite. Do the same for prominent authors in your area of study. |
