Application Timeline

First-Year Summer Session and Fall Semester Admission
We strongly recommend that complete applications be filed by November 30.

Applications with all credentials (including the application fee, high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores) are evaluated after they are complete. Many programs and campuses are filled by qualified early applicants. Individuals filing an application after November 30 will find admission to popular programs and campuses, and the availability of housing at campuses other than University Park, limited.

First-Year Spring Semester Admission
Complete applications with all credentials (including high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores) for spring semester admission should be received by November 1.

When Will I Receive a Decision?

First-Year; Summer Session & Fall Semester Admission

If your complete application and credentials are received in Admissions by November 30, then your anticipated notification date should be no later than January 31.

If your complete application and credentials are received in Admissions by December 31, then your anticipated notification should be no later than February 28.

If your complete application and credentials are received in Admissions on or after January 31, then your anticipated notification should be after March 1.

First-Year; Spring Semester Admission

Applicants will be informed of the admission decision by mid-December.

Decisions for competitive programs that include an audition, interview, or portfolio will require a longer review period.
