The Alpha Index, which is intended primarily for those who know what they are looking for but do not know where to find it, contains hundreds of links to academic subjects that are cross-referenced and cross-indexed. Links are denoted by color-coded buttons (see example below) that indicate the type of document that the user will be linking to. Placing the cursor over any button will reveal a short, pop-up description of the Web site to which that button is linked (Internet Explorer browser only). Additional information about the button links can be found on the Alpha Index's Key page.

The individual pages of the Alpha Index can be accessed from the menu at the top of each page or from the links directly below.
