PSU ARMY ROTC

The Army ROTC Drill Team was formed in 1932 as Headquarters Company B-8 on the National Organization of Pershing Rifles. It is the oldest drill team on the Penn State Campus and organizations like the Penn State Ranger Company and H-Company of the Scabbard and Blade military society find their origins in that drill team. In recent years, Lion's Guard has committed itself to provide the highest quality Drill and Ceremonies training to Army ROTC cadets. Lion's Guard also gives cadets the opportunity to perform color guards at sporting events, in honor of Military holidays and events and other university activities.
