Welcome to the Graduate Writing Center!

The Graduate Writing Center (GWC) provides trained, friendly, and free peer consulting and workshops for Penn State graduate students of all disciplines and of all levels of writing ability.  The GWC is sponsored by the Pennsylvania State University Graduate School and the Department of English.

The GWC is in 111-H Kern Graduate Commons building, having moved from 111-L Kern on 8/12/09.

To schedule a GWC appointment, click here, or call 865-8021. The GWC follows PSU's academic calendar and is therefore closed when the university is not in session.

In the picture below, Brandy Scalise conducts a workshop on "Writing Dissertation, Thesis, and Conference Proposals" 3/24/09 with 41 participants.
