Cocurricular Learning Community Hub
Cocurricular education at Penn State is defined as formal and informal out-of-class learning opportunities including involvement with clubs and organizations, online and in-person workshops and certificate programs, lectures, internships, co-ops, interactions with faculty and other students and cultural events.
The cocurricular learning hub is intended to create a shared space for the exploration of how to improve the quality, intentionality, impact and assessment of PennState's cocurricular learning environment. It is hoped that this hub's discussions and resources will provide useful information and engaging dialogue for students, faculty and staff who have an interest in improving out of class learning.
We encourage you to share best practices for cocurricular learning interventions, assessment and measurement of cocurricular student learning efforts, emerging trends for the use of technology to provide cocurricular learning opportunities, questions about
integrating cocurricular learning into academic courses, and other
related topics.
If you are not a Penn State student, faculty, or staff member and wish to guest blog, please email the post to April Sheninger at azs2@sa.psu.edu. If the post meets the criteria, your submission will be posted to the blog within 2 business days.
