With respect to each article written by you and accepted for publication by The Los Angeles Times, you grant The Times the exclusive right to publish first in North America, and you give The Times permission to edit, reproduce, and distribute each article in whole or in part, alone or combined with other information, in any format or media, including but not limited to publication on The Times' Internet site, LATIMES.com, and through its archives, TimesOnLine.

You also give The Times permission to use each article, your name, photograph or likeness in any format or media to promote The Times or other publications or services that publish or will publish an article written by you.
