Now that golf season is in full swing, we hope
it is time for you to think about the Dollars for Scholars Golf
Classic at Penn State.
This year’s tournament is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at the Penn State Blue Course. The honorary chairman for this year's tournament is Steve Jones, the voice of Penn State football and basketball.
Sponsorship of the Dollars for Scholars supports
the Neal J. Friedman Internship Fund, which has provided more than
$250,000 in support for students in Penn State’s College of
Communications. The tournament, run by the College’s Alumni
Society Board, is in its 15th year.
We invite you to participate, at one of three levels:
• The $1,000 Corporate Sponsorship, which includes greens
fees, carts, lunch, an awards ceremony and reception and many other
amenities for four (4) golfers.
• The $500 Tee Sponsorship, which includes greens fees, carts,
lunch, an awards ceremony and reception and many other amenities
for two (2) golfers.
• The $150 Individual Golfer, which includes greens fees, carts, lunch, an awards ceremony and reception and many other amenities for one (1) golfer.
• Donation.
