Summer Wellness Series Brochure

Below is a list of the classes offered through PSU Fitness. Not all classes are offered each semester. Check the current schedule for more information and class meeting times.

Circuit Training
Highly efficient workout utilizing weights, body bars, BOSU, and more to elevate the heart rate and burn maximum calories in minimum time. Only available at Rec Hall.

Circuit Cycling Challenge
A mix of circuit training and cycling that allows you to sculpt and tone your body as well as pedal away some serious calories on your cycle. Only at Rec Hall.

Butts & Guts
Butts & Guts is a toning class focusing on the lower body and abdominals. This class has no aerobic component.

Calorie Killer
High intensity workout utilizing the interval training method by alternating segments of muscle conditioning with challenging bursts of cardio.

Beach Body Shape Up
This class utilizes weights, stability balls, resistance bands, and more to sculpt the entire body. There is no cardio segment in this class.

Full Body Workout
For those who want it all! A mixture of all of the PSU fitness classes. Full Body Workout can be different every day.

Hip Hop Aerobics
Stylized form of aerobics that gives a high-intensity workout while utilizing hip hop dance moves. Entertainment and exercise in the same class.

Indoor Cycling
A cardiovascular stationary bicycle workout set to music and led by an instructor. Classes marked "PLUS" include 5-10 minutes of intense abdominal/low back exercises.

Kick Boxing Aerobics
A class that integrates kicks and punches into a high-intensity cardiovascular workout.

Pilates
So you want to be toned but not bulky? Give Fitness Pilates a try! This class combines principles of general fitness with the core-strengthening moves of Pilates for a great workout.

Fitness Yoga
A non-purist yoga class designed for the mainstream fitness participant. This class integrates both body and mind through yoga poses with a focus on strength, conditioning and flexibility.

STEP
An aerobics class using adjustable platforms to accommodate all intensity levels. Moves and music blend in this three-dimensional fitness class.

Washboard Abs
This is a class that specifically targets the muscles in the torso, in the abdomen and those in the lower back.
