Company info sheet for:

""PP Systems has been in existence since 1984. The company was started by Dr. Keith J. Parkinson, whose work on the measurement of photosynthesis at Rothamsted Experimental Station led to the development of the portable photosynthesis system sold by the Analytical Development Company (ADC). Based 50 miles north of London, we have a comprehensive range of development facilities, including a prototyping workshop, microprocessor development systems and CAD tools for PCB's. PP Systems developed into a small firm of technical experts, specializing in the design and manufacture of scientific instruments. In addition to the popular CIRAS-1 Portable Photosynthesis System, we now produce and market a full range of environmental monitoring, sensing and logging systems.

Due to continued growth and increased market potential for plant physiology instrumentation in North America, PP Systems set up an associated company in the United States. On June 29, 1993, PP Systems, Inc. was incorporated into the state of Massachusetts. Based in Haverhill, approximately 30 miles north of Boston, our current facility features marketing, R&D, service and manufacturing space. The company's main responsibilities include sales, marketing and technical support of all PP Systems' products in North America, primarily in the plant physiology and environmental monitoring sectors. In January 1994, some of the manufacturing was shifted from the U.K. to our U.S. office. Currently, several PCB's are completely manufactured and tested in the states."
