Constitution

Article I: FUNCTIONS

The Faculty/Staff Club, located at the University Park campus of the Pennsylvania State University, shall provide activities and opportunities to promote collegiality, thoughtful discourse and a sense of community among the faculty and staff of the University.

Article II: MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Faculty/Staff Club is available to all faculty and staff of the Pennsylvania State University who are eligible for University benefits, retirees of the Pennsylvania State University, widows or widowers of deceased members of the Faculty/Staff Club, members of the University's Board of Trustees and to Trustees

Emeriti/ae. Associates of the University who are not considered "employees" but provide regular services, maintain an office on campus and carry a Penn State ill card are also eligible for membership.

Article III: AMENDMENTS

Amendments to the Constitution may be proposed either by the Board of Directors or by written petition from twenty (20) members of the Club and addressed to the President of the Board of Directors. Members of the Faculty/Staff Club shall vote on proposed amendments by submitting written or e-mail ballots to the Board of Directors at least two (2) weeks after the dissemination of the proposed amendment(s) to the membership The Secretary of the Board shall count the ballots. Amendment(s) shall be adopted if a majority of the members voting have voted in the affirmative.
