The first User Service Conference will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in Johnston Commons at University Park. The conference is expected to be an annual event.
The conference is designed for staff who provide IT support to departments, colleges, campuses, and offices. Participants will attend educational sessions, interact with their colleagues, and enhance their professional development.
Sessions will include topics such as spyware, tracking systems, application installation for distributed machines, and user communication.
The keynote speaker will be Beth McLaughlin from the Office of Human Resources. She will speak on generational differences and how they affect the approach to providing customer service.
