On April 5, 2006, Information Technology Services (ITS) will present User Services Conference 2006 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel. In keeping with this year's theme, Looking to the Future, the conference will offer nine customer service, management, and technical sessions on such topics as wikis, hand held devices, wireless access, computer security, WebMail, and customer challenges. Kevin Morooney, senior director of Academic Services and Emerging Technologies (ASET), a unit of Information Technology Services, will present the keynote address. In addition to local and campus vendors, representatives from IBM, Dell, Gateway, and Apple will be available to answer questions. Continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be served as part of the conference registration.
