As previously announced, Information Technology Services (ITS) is ending support for Windows 98, Windows 98SE and Windows Millennium Edition (ME) operating systems on June 30, 2006. ITS is ending support for these operating systems, because vendors no longer provide support for them, and a growing number of newer applications will not run on them. As a result, fewer and fewer users still have these systems. ITS urges all users and support personnel to upgrade their software (and hardware, if necessary) to ensure they are running supported operating systems.
