Undergraduate Research
Students can conduct research either as independent studies or as components of their courses. Student have the opportunity to share their research at the campus's annual Research and Creative Exposition and to publish their papers in our Undergraduate Research Journal.
Past student research topics have included:
- Skunk cabbage - a 'hot-blooded' plant
- Biofuels
- Medically useful polymers
- Soil bacteria
- Hematopoietic stem cells
- Dental health and systemic disease
Research can be conducted in our science laboratories, out on our campus nature trail and through our clinical affiliates.
Faculty encourage students to develop their own research projects and ideas.
