E-1: PROFICIENCY (PLACEMENT) EXAMINATION

Senate Policy:  42-50.2, Credit by Undergraduate Proficiency Examination

Procedure:

Notification of credits granted after successful completion of proficiency (placement) examinations is made to the Registrar's office by departments and by the Division of Undergraduate Studies. Blank Undergraduate Proficiency Examination Grade Cards are obtained from the Registrar's office. These cards are completed with the student and course information, the symbol "S" circled, authenticated by the department head, and returned to the Registrar's office .
