In December 1999, the Palmer Museum of Art received a significant gift of contemporary art from the collection of Joseph D. and Janet M. Shein. In celebration of this gift, an exhibition of the nine donated pieces will be on view in the Pincus Gallery of Contemporary Art throughout the fall. Large-scale, colorful works by Roy DeForest, Ed Paschke, Jerry Kearns, Marisol, and other contemporary artists will enable viewers to experience a bit of the highly-charged, cutting-edge art of the last two decades.
