Update: Quality Team Highlights - Always Ready to Recognize New Teams

Penn State’s Quality Team Highlights provides a way to recognize teams that have contributed to innovation and improvement initiatives. Since January we have received information on 27 new teams from three colleges, two campuses, and five academic support units. Enter your team in the Team Database to share their knowledge and accomplishments across the University.

We tend to think of conflict as a specific issue in groups, with resulting negative consequences. In “The paradox of intragroup conflict: A meta-analysis” Frank R. C. de Wit, L. L. Greer, and K.A. Jehn define and explore the different types of conflict and the different ways each type can impact the work of a group.

Penn State Institutional Research Interest Group: Data Tools to Help Student Success

Topics of discussion include a tool to examine whether students meet the pre-requisites for their registered courses and a query used to identify students with financial holds on their records.

Support for Planning, Improvement, and Assessment in Your Unit

The Office of Planning and Institutional Assessment supports the University’s efforts to plan, assess, and improve programs and services.
