Gaming the Archives, by Jennifer Howard, posted in the Wired Campus section of The Chronicle of Higher Education, on May 23, 2011.

The game described in this article, Metadata Games, was developed by team led by Professor Mary Flanagan at Dartmouth.  I can see developing really engaging class assignments around this game.  And as a one who spent many months searching through archaeological records and field notes, I can imagine the benefits of adding metadata to archives.  I hope they get additional funding.
