Penn State Orthopaedics, located in the Centre Medical Sciences Building, has been providing orthopaedic, sports medicine, and physical therapy services to the State College community and Penn State University varsity athletes since 1994.
Whether you are a dedicated athlete, a weekend warrior, or an armchair quarterback, we have the medical professionals and facilities to evaluate and treat your condition. All of our physicians are board certified or board eligible, and we participate with most major insurance plans within the Greater State College area.
Medical services are delivered in our convenient and modern facility adjacent to Centre Community Hospital, and we are open from 8:00am until 5:00pm on every weekday. In addition, our physical therapy department has extended hours during the evening for patient convenience.
The Penn State Orthopaedics & Center for Sports Medicine services all 29 sports teams at Penn State as well as area high schools and the general public. The Center provides a wide array of services within the traditional sports medicine setting such as orthopaedics & physical therapy; as well as a wide array of specialty areas such as internal medicine, physiatry and a diabetic foot clinic.
We look forward to hosting your team and hope you have an injury free visit!
