Verification requests mailed
For quality assurance purposes, the federal government requires our office to select a sample of student aid records for a process called verification. Through verification, we confirm the accuracy of the information students and their parents(s)/spouse submitted on the FAFSA and make corrections, if needed. Students who are selected for verification will have a hold placed on their aid until the verification process is complete. If you were selected for verification, please complete the verification notice and return it to us along with any requested documents. Once we receive the information, we will conduct a verification review, which may take up to three weeks to complete. |
