The PSU Grand Prix Tennis Circuit is a series of four monthly tournaments ending with the Grand Finale for those who have qualified. The PSU Grand Prix integrates competitive and social tennis into a fun filled weekend. All levels of play will be offered with everyone guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches. | RULES | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
All participants may enter no more than two divisions. Every player mreceives one point for every round won. A win after a bye receives two points. A loss after a bye receives zero points. A win in the consolation division receives 1/2 point for each round won. Players must play in at least three of the four Grand Prix's to qualify for the Grand Finale. In all doubles divisions, points are awarded on an individual basis, so you do not have to play with the same partner every tournament. USTA rules apply. Depending on size of draw, pro sets may be used for consolation matches. Larger divisions may start Friday evening. All players receive a T-shirt, balls are provided. There will be a social after play concludes Saturday afternoon. |
