| LETTER FROM THE SUPERVISOR | ||||||||||||||
Dear Members, I hope all is welll with you and your family. There is much to discuss in this month's newsletter. Let me start with the October Grand Prix scheduled to be played October 13-15. We will only use Friday evening in the even of very large divisions. This is our last outdoor event of the season so I encourage everyone to sign up and join the fun. Please sign up at the Pro Shop desk by Wednesday, October 11 at 5:00 PM. The renovation of the clay court irrigation system is complete. The new system has dramatically improved the water coverage on the courts which will give everyone a consistent playing surface. The clay courts still have some scars from the renovations and we're still tweaking the run times to make them run at their optimal efficiency. A special thanks to the Athletic Department for providing the funds to do this very much needed project. In this month's newsletter you will find information on our Men's and Women's Singles Indoor Flex League. Flex being short for "flexible". You are guaranteed one singles match per week that you and your opponent schedule anytime during that week. We will also be offering reduced indoor court fees at specified times to play your Flex League matches. Please read the information in the newsletter. Finally, our intent was to put all the upcoming indoor rates and policies in this issue. Unfortunately at the time of this writing we have not yet been informed on any of our essential indoor information. We look for it in the very near future and will send out a separate flyer with all the information immediately. If you had a permanent indoor time last year and would like to reserve the same time this year, you will have the right for first refusal. Please be patient, again we will inform everyone of our indoor rates and policies as soon as possible. It is a pleasure serving you and we look forward to a great indoor season. PS. I apologize for the mixup concerning the PSTC accepting credit cards. We were set up and ready for credit card purchases, however, at this time we are not able to accept credit cards. This will be straightened out in the near future. We will keep you posted. Sincerely, Eric
