Requirements to enter the major

Information Sciences and Technology (IST) 2.00 prior to and through the end of the semester during which the entrance-to-major procedure is carried out Approximately 60 credits

each with a grade of C or better*

These courses must be completed by the end of the semester during which the entrance-to-major procedure is carried out.
Security and Risk Analysis (SRA) 2.00 prior to and through the end of the semester during which the entrance-to-major procedure is carried out Approximately 60 credits

IST 110
SRA 111
SRA 211
each with a grade of C or better*

These courses must be completed by the end of the semester during which the entrance-to-major procedure is carried out.

*These course and grade requirements are effective summer 2008. However, the College of IST is willing to review, on a case-by-case basis, students in the spring 2009 entrance-to-major pool who do not meet these required entrance criteria.
