The CIC (Committee on Institutional Cooperation), with headquarters in Champaign, Illinois, is the academic consortium of the Big Ten universities and the University of Chicago. Its programs encompass nearly all aspects of university activity.
The CIC Academic Advising Administrators group was established in 1994 and meets on an annual basis. The CIC Academic Advising Administrators group promotes and supports quality academic advising at institutions of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC). The organization provides a forum for discussion, debate, exchange of ideas, sharing of best practices, resource sharing, and collaboration.

The 2008 meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 30 through Friday, May 2, at the University of WisconsinMadison. Rooms are available at the Fluno Center for $139/night, flat rate (no taxes or fees). Reference the CIC meeting when making your reservations.
