What can I do with this major/degree?

For each major that interests you, choose the “PDF” version below to find an outline of common career areas, typical employers, and strategies designed to maximize career opportunities. Choose the “links” version to find a list of Web sites that provide additional information about majors and related careers.

If a Penn State major that interests isn't listed below, try looking under other names (for example, look for the Health Policy and Administration major under “Public Health,” Kinesiology under “Athletics and Sport,” Microbiology under “Biological Sciences,” and so on).

Keep in mind that these PDF documents and Web sites are representative of typical career paths associated with each major but are not comprehensive lists. You may want to explore information and Web sites from multiple majors to help you learn about a wide range of career opportunities.
