Subject: Advising Assessment Survey

- This is your chance to help improve academic advising in the Eberly College of Science.

- Please take 5 - 10 minutes to complete an academic advising questionnaire.

Penn State students have often voiced concerns about the quality of
academic advising and have requested a method to provide feedback
on the academic advising they receive.  The Eberly College of
Science takes these concerns seriously and is doing something
about it.

Each fall and spring semester students will be asked to complete
an advising questionnaire.  The questionnaire is multiple choice
and will ask you questions about your adviser and about yourself.

Your answers will be kept STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL and will be
anonymously combined with all other Eberly College of Science
students into a final report describing academic advising in the college.
This report will be shared with the faculty, department heads,
and the Dean and will be used to help improve academic advising.

To complete the survey on-line, click below.  The deadline for
completing the survey is March 15, 1999, so please take the
time to do it now.
