The Mentor: An Academic Advising Journal Reflections from the General Editor Diane Greenfield, Penn State
When we started The Mentor: An Academic Advising Journal in January 1999, we knew it was a good idea. But we could not have imagined the enthusiastic response it has received. It has been a pleasure to work on this publication – to see it fill a real need for information and discussion. Because I am retiring from Penn State, I will be stepping down as general editor. Holly Hart will be taking my place. I am sure you will enjoy working with her. I will still be involved with The Mentor as a member of its editorial board. I look forward to seeing the publication continue to develop – reflecting the diversity and creativity of our advising community. Diane Greenfield is retired coordinator of communications from Penn State's Division of Undergraduate Studies and former general editor of The Mentor.
